Description
Perhaps the funniest calypso of all is "The Big Bamboo," the signature hit of the Duke of Iron. It is the classic, double-entendre, "naughty" calypso. Merely printing the lyrics here would not do it justice, and indeed there are many, many ad-lib, "lost," and corrupted verses among the many versions. Typically played on cruise ships and at island resorts like Barbados, "The Big Bamboo" is not a song for the humor-impaired or prudish, but once you've heard it, you must admit: "The Big Bamboo" pleases one and all.

Love, love, love this! I've never heard of the game, or heard the song. I was just captured by the colors of the sign. Now I'm curious.. What is interesting, is that I just watched a show on "cruise Ships" and their size, and the reason they sink. Interesting and coincidental.....because I just made a comment on your other picture of the "rivets", and now you are saying this is a game played on "Cruise Ships".. so very interesting. I guess I will be googling this now, and seeing just what the double meaning is. FV... I'm on a cruise ship theme now. Hummmm ........FV
