Description
"Rocket 88" (originally written as Rocket "88") is a rhythm and blues song that was first recorded at Sam Phillips' recording studio in Memphis, Tennessee, on 3 March or 5 March 1951 (accounts differ). The recording was credited to Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats, who were actually Ike Turner's Kings of Rhythm. It has been claimed by Phillips and some music critics to be the "first rock and roll song". From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ha! The title's a reference to (not only the yellow infinitely regressing 88s in the image) the keys on a piano, --like in "Rocket 88"-- which are also known as the 'black and whites' ...and this artwork is ANYTHING but. Hilarious! It's a groove thang, Alec.

Piano on the original is fantastic, and the horns, not to mention the bass - i do regress :)) You were no where man if you could not play this song - your art is a perfect fit Alec. V/F
